My current Cruising World mentions a documentary by Gary Jobson on June 5th 6pm EDT on ESPN. I can't find it anywhere on my programming guide here out west. Anybody else? I'd like to watch/record.

Thanks. Bob.

From your lips to God's ears. I've found that often these things are pre-empted. But, I've marked it on my calendar and will try to find more specific info on which of the ESPN channels it will air on.

Gary himself played us a 15min preview from it at the Storm Trysail Club Safety at Sea seminar back in April. The documentary is actually just a tribute to Ted Turner and his sailing carrier (and that's not just my take on it, it was actually pitched that way to ESPN when they agreed to make the film, straight from Gary's mouth to my ears).

The section on the fastenet race that I saw left me torn between significant admiration for the skill of the crew, and a sense that Ted Turner was a psychopath with no regard for the safety or the life of his crew.

I've searched what ESPN my satellite offers, and no-go. Will check again in a few days.
