Thanks Ross I downloaded the file. The 28' boat built with a cabim would make a great little boat for exploring rivers. Maybe someday I will build one.

Moonsailor I will see if I can find the lifting drive system they refer to in the plans for the larger boats. It is pretty cool.

I am thinking that a Honda four stroke about 10 hp would be the easy way to go. But I downloaded the instructions thanks.

There is soooo much river to explore here in Alabama. The Alabama river ,Mobile River Chatahoochee and then the Tennessee river with the Ohio river not too far. One could be a Tom Sawyer for years!!!!!

I wonder if a ten horse Honda utility engine would serve as well as an outboard.
