Pearson Wanderer Titusville, Florida
Antigua to Trinidad and back, in late fall

It's a reach both ways in strong, steady winds, blue-water sailing in very manageable doses and plenty of friendly places to stop along the way. The summer heat will be gone but the tourists haven't arrived yet, so most places should still be uncrowded. The only weather worries might be a late-season hurricane (rare) or some early Christmas winds (also rare). See you on the dock in Falmouth Harbour. Peter H23 "Raven"

Great Lakes

I have had a lifelong daydream/fantasy/nightmare of sailing the entire Great Lakes shoreline. To do this properly would take several entire seasons, but someday......

Keys

Although almost all these ideas sound like great trips, I'm inclined to agree w/ Mark and Todd (2 of the first posts). I'm a big fan of the Keys but have never gotten to sail there, and I'd love to keep heading out beyond Key West, too.

Hawaii !

I have always wanted to do the transpac from California to Hawaii. I would charter a boat in Cal and sail downhill to Honolulu. Then spend a lot of time on all the islands and those beautiful beaches.

Sailing in Paradise

Ever since I started sailing I've dreamed of the South Pacific. I'd charter a Catalina 38 (my dream boat) and sail from Fiji to Tahiti and spend the nights anchored in idyllic harbors with visions of "The Blue Lagoon". After reading "Dove" I was a prisioner of the South Pacific - diving for lobsters and laying in the sunshine. Ocassionally we'd (my lovely wife and partner in life) stay at one of the expensive resorts to recharge ourselves. When can I leave? Catalina is going to pay to make my dream come true, right?

I would do Maine, and easily spend the 3 months

and still not see it all.

Chesapeake Bay then down the Intercoastal

I'd take a month (maybe more) to explore the Chesapeake then I'd head down the Intercoastal until I ran out of time. When I got to Florida I'm not sure if I'd head to the Keys or to the Bahamas.

Not many anchorages in Hawaii

Only problem with Hawaii, there are hardly any anchorages and very limited number of marinas. Suggest you do a recon trip first by big bird.
