The clip-on ferrite bead didn't do any good. Just going with the battery powered fan at night. It does the job, well enough. I use the 12v when it's 100+ during the day, and I'm working on something.

Give my capacitor solution a go... So cheap and easy...

Will do, just as soon as I get time to drive down to the city.. RS didn't have any non-polarized ones.
