The material covering the interior has begun falling. Does this sound like a simple regluing job or should I be looking for serious water seepage? Any ideas on how to fix?
We got some at JO-ANN Fabrics, and repaired our 24 year old interior last month. We'll see how long the repair lasts, but it looks great now. There was water involved in ours in some places, but age seemed to be the most important factor.DavidLady Lillie
Walter:Of course moisture, weather it be from a leak or condensation does not help. I would that depending on the age of the boat, this may not be anything to really worry about. The glues that they use are not going to last forever. I would check the area to see if there are any signs of water intrustion. If there is then you should repair the leak first. It reattach the liner just use contact cement. You apply to both sides and press them together after they dry. (follow the instruction on the container).
