We have a Hunter 31 which has a small exterior strip of teak trim along both sides (about 10 ft.) on the top. Both strips have parts missing. Where would I find a replacement? I have seen a plastic replacement on some boats. I would consider totally removing the strips however, I am not sure what to put in the hole that remain from the screw. I would really appreciate anyone's help.

I replaced mine with plastic teak(PlasTeak). I am not satisfied with the result. I had to use two pieces because the longest I could buy was twelve feet. It is hard to get a good miter joint because of shrinkage. You can see some of my PlasTeak over on the Cherubini Forum(Related Link). I have also seen stainless used for the trim strip. Very nice but very expensive. If you do put down a new strip of anything be sure to seal it well.

Fill the holes with epoxy or Marinetex. Last year I saw a local boater who removed that teak trim abouve the windows and replace it with auto type body side molding held on with adhesive. Looked like stuff off the shelf at PepBoy. Sure beats buying parts at West Marine

That was a 'lesson'
I can't say it was expensive, ($50) but I wanted to replace the teak strip on my H34. (just like yours) I bought Plasteak. It looked awful. (I had been warned) It went into the garbage. The manufacturer refused to refund my money.
