I was thinking of installing an AC port, NACO GCP2, in the fuel well at the stern. I am thinking that i shares a common wall with where the H240 has it's battery. I am open to suggestions.
External shore power connection.

we are not planning on any major appliances. The Marina provides a 30 amp circuit. I want to keep the battery charged for the bilge pump. I might add a microwave.

Hey Dave, no, my 240 did not have shore power. Shore power on the 260 I have now was installed by you, with the connection on the aft wall of the port cockpit locker. I think this location works well- out of the weather, there is enough of a gap on the locker lid for the cord to pass without being pinched. I don't know how much work it was to install- might be some foam behind there. I guess you could also use the starboard locker, but it is much smaller and the plug would take up a lot of the space when in use.

My concern in this post the shore power connection near or at fuel locker which could be dangerous on his 240. I am trying to remember where I installed them on the 240 successfully. @patbratton send me a private message
