We need to replace the teak around the edge of the deck - where the hull and deck meet. Does anyone have suggestions on technique and where to buy supplies? Thanks!
...mine this past spring. I took the teak toe-rails off my 23, sanded, coated with Epifanes, sanded, coat again with epifanes and again a third time. They look great. If you need to get new toe-rails, you can get them from www.drmarine.com
Is the teak in that bad shape or badly weathered? I thought the teak on my O-26 was in bad shape so one Saturday I scrubbed it with teak cleaner and it returned to its natural finish. This coming weekend I'm going to wipe it all down with teak oil as opposed to marine varnish.
