Expo 12 solar sailer

Hi all,
I have been given a free expo 14 solar sailer. It is in very poor shape. There are some general questions I have. I know that TPI Composites is not making any more solar sailer boats and only 200 were ever made. This boat is missing its dagger board keel, which is an easy fix, and its kick-up rudder, but the serious piece missing is the main sail as well as mast pole. Does anyone know how to go about getting a replacement sail and mast pole in the Baltimore, Md region? Thank you.

You would be extremely lucky to find the exact mast and sail for this boat. Having a new mast made for this would likely be pretty expensive.
I'd be looking around for a used mast from another boat that is about the right height that would fit your mast step.
Once you get the mast settled you could then measure your rig and go to Bacon's in Annapolis to look for an appropriate sized used sail.

Interesting boat. I think it would be easily worth the effort to fix up. Electric Motor? Does that work? It appears to be an innovative - wouldn't expect anything else from Hoyt- easily sailed boat.
