Considering buying one of their roll up inflatables. Anyone with experience with them out there willing to offer an opinion?

Great boat for the money........

I have had my roll up for three years and it has served me well. I like it because of the light weight, about 80#. I can pull it out of the water myself at the dock, deflate it, then pick it up and put it in my van. The drain plug broke about a year after I owned it and Sea Eagle sent me a new plug, no questions asked. Great service. I think for the money it is a great boat.

Good thread.....

I'm hoping for more responses, as I've been eyeing the Sea Eagle SE-9 inflatable fishing boat to use as a dinghy.

Good question

Looking at buying one myself. If you ask a Zodiac repair man they say they can't be patched. But if seen them selling patches!? Its alot cheaper than say 4000 plus for a zodiac. so it may not last as long you saved over a thousand. call them for a sample. se for you self.

one available

I am considering the Sea Eagle as well. Just can't make up my mind yet. There is one listed on e-bay if you want to go that direction. Bid ends about 1 pm on 10/19 eastern time

SE - 6

My son and I each have the SE - 6. I have the fisherman's Package with motormount, floor boats and wooden seats. It performs well in lake and Gulf Coast waters. Two adults and a child in choppy seas was no problem. I use a Merc 2.5hp with no problems at all. I would like the Zodiac better, easier to get ready. But the additional $400 - $500 dollars is not worth an additional 15 or so minutes for set up. Also, the service is great. I lose a small part, they send the part with any hassle. It is also easy to get into from my Catalina 27. Good boat. S/V Zydeco

Mine patched just fine....

Mine came with a patch kit. I accidentally cut it once while hauling it out and subsequently patched it. Very quick and has held up for more than a year under pressure. No problem. jk
