exide prevailer batteries?

I've had really good luck with a pair of these 27's as my house bank- very dependable. If you don't abuse them, they'll last well- lack of maintenance needs makes them worth more money to me
The only issue is that the gel gets less amp hours per battery than flooded- iirc, about 86 hrs as opposed to 105 hrs. Not a big deal, if you don't have large power needs (or if you put a couple together). So, fwiw, I give em 4 stars out of 5 for convenience, reliability, price (vs agm), etc... B ps. shop around- you might find them cheaper... there are a couple of places in FL that should have a good price.
