I just purchased my Hunter 37 and was taking it to it's new berth after about 7 hrs of motoring I discovered that I may have a little problem. With the exhaust below the waterline when motoring the transom was covered with an oily black soot. On previous boats the exhaust was above the waterline and the exhaust was carried away. Any thoughts on this and do others have the same problem.
