I have a 1985 Catalina 27 with a M-18 Universal Diesel Engine. I am trying to find a replacement for my exhaust pipe. My boatyard tells me it looks like a makeshift part. I have tried contacting westerbeke who told me to contact Catalina which I did, Catalina has not responded. Can anyone help where I might find this part?

I might try calling Catalina again. Last time I had a query about a part, it was Frank Butler who answered the phone, and he sent me out a replacement almost immediately.
Granted, it has been a few years, but that customer service memory stuck in my head, and it is a large part of why I am a Catalina owner today.

Exhaust Riser Replacement
The risers can be furnished by Catalina, I got mine from them. I would check the C27 Association website, too. Many folks have made their own, too. Try this from 2000: http://www.c34.org/faq-pages/faq-exhaust-pipe.html
Keep trying Catalina, and ask for parts. Do not give up nor wait for them to call you back, keep calling, clear enough?
