Exhaust Pipe on old Yanmar YSE 12

I noticed the pipe nipple that is threaded into the exhaust manifold of my Yanmar YSE 12 vibrating while I was running the engine yesterday, when I gently touched it I found that there is a crack right there. I put my tape up to the outside diameter and I read almost exactly 2", I'm thinking too small to be 2" NPT since that's 2" I.D. Does anyone know if this is a metric nipple? The other end (inverted trap with the water connection) is also threaded and it is about 9" between the two connections, I put in a message to Torrensen Marine, any other ideas on getting a replacement?

Mine was cracked as well. You need to replace the manifold, connector that is left hand thread on one end and right on the other, and the mixing elbow. It's not to expensive. It will allow exhaust fumes into the cabin.

Yup, was already minimizing engine use and keeping folks out of the cabin while motoring because we noticed more exhaust fumes than normal, glad I now know the cause. Now that you describe the job I remember I did this once back in the mid 80's - same job you layed out. Do you know if I can get away with just the pipe nipple if I already replaced the original equipment manifold and mixing elbow or is the reason for all new parts because it's just too much of a bear to unthread the cracked broken stubs of the nipple from the connections?
