Had water in the rear bilge after two 30 minute out & in motoring sessions following a spirited Lake Erie sail this weekend. Checked after with engine running, and sure enough I have several quite significant leaks in the exhaust hose where it mates with the through hull. How on earth do I get myself into that space? Do I need to remove the water heater? Had to leave before I could measure, so does anyone know the 1 5/8 hose length? I imagine in emergency one could just trim the hose and reconnect IF there was quick access. Any ideas?
