Exhaust Flap

Anyone know where I can find a replacement for the flap over the exhaust exit that prevents water from entering the exhust system. Mine is a 86 Cat 30. The plastic fitting to which the flap attaches is still there and to avoid a complete retrofit I'm looking for a factory type part.ThanksTim

i replaced the one on my c-30 ,it came from www.catalinadirect.com. the one they carry is a replacement for the old rubber flap style, the new ones are all stainless steel and much better than original.

Defender Industries lists rubber flappers from Vernay Products -- they come in sizes from 2" to 5". I'm missing the same part; my guess without measuring is that we take the 2" size, 3" maximum (just bought my boat; it's in a yard about 25 miles from here -- if you can measure your outlet and let me know size I'd appreciate it). Defender is at 800-628-8225; p/n 301558 for 2" ($3.95) or 301560 for 3" ($4.79). Probably other suppliers as well. Let me know as I hope to order/install same part before I sail the boat down from Marina del Rey to Long Beach!
