What's with the annoying exhaust buildup on the H320? There's no visible smoke, yet I get this buildup over a few days of exhaust soot on the transom floor and all over the stern. I'm using clean fuel, properly blended with Cetane and water emulsifier. Anyone else have this? Any solution? Thanks.

Bill, not uncommon in my experience. The position of the outlet allows the exhaust to mix with the water that washes over the swim platform. I've considered relocating to above the waterline which also makes it easier to check the flow but you're back to occasional fumes blowing into the boat. I just keep a bottle of 'Nautical Ease' in the locker to address the issue. Spray the platform and splash it with water. Merit to both approaches I suppose. Have a great day!

I use what the manufacturer labels 'Spray Boat Cleaner'. I purchase in the gallon container and refill the spray bottle as necessary. Spray it on, let soak for a minute, agitate with your hand or by brush and rinse or splash off. I've found other products that are a little better(also harder on the finish) but they will not do what this formula will for the insidious arachnid excretion AKA spider poop which is why I keep it aboard in the first place. The product is magical on spider crap!
