Ever Order from These People?

Hello,

I ordered a few items from 'Discountmarinesupplies.com' and I am having some trouble. First, they have shipped my parts to the wrong address, not even remotely close to what I provided for them. My Billing & Shipping address were the same so its pretty simple. I was billed, but the parts went somewhere else in this small city of Chicago.
Second, they don't have a phone number to 'keep costs down' and they only provide email service. Well, I have had no luck & no reply through email and I am about to call the bank and stop the charges....

Anyone ever deal with these people?

I have used Discountmarinesupplies, but only as a "lower price" under West Marine's price match policy. I printed their price, took it to West Marine and they matched the price + shipping price. BrianW

Good luck! Placed an order with them a while back. Never got the order. Email is useless. Saved only because I paid thru PP. The amount wasn't enough to the credit card involved. Filed a complaint with PP and they were able to debit their account and get my money back. Took 3 weeks. Learned one lesson, make sure the e-tailer is accredited and has a phone number.

why do Westmarine feel obligated to price match when their competitor has the luxury of never shipping the product and collecting the money..??
