Steve: Yup, part of the problem is your Jenny. To be competitive, you'd need a 150 or a 155 deck sweeper. I have a high cut 135 on my C30 and it is great for cruising but I would not race with it. Also, do you have inside fairlead tracks? I assume you just have the outside ones. The use of inside tracks or a Barberhauler would help you ability to point.while sailing closehauled. Additionally, I assume all your controls for the main and jib are properly set for the wind condidtions you are experiencing.
