Ericson 27 Keel construction

Good afternoon all from the very cold midwest. I have the opportunity to pick up a mid 70's 27ft Ericson. Not sure if it can be saved, but all the parts appear to be there. I am thinking of parting it out, and do not know the construction of the keel. Is it Lead, and if so how much. The going price on lead is roughly $.75/pound. Is it encapsolated in glass?? It appears to have been in fresh water all of it's life.

If you are parting it out, please register (there is no cost) at the Ericsonyachts.org owners' site and put the list of stuff you are selling into the For Sale forum.
Hundreds of owners will be interested, depending on cost and shipping of course.
