I have an opportunity to purchase an ericson 21 for cheap, but the boat needs some substantial work. All major components are there, but it looks pretty rough and there is a small "soft spot" in the decking, that no doubt will need to be recored and glassed. My question is does anyone have some information on these boats. I never see any listings for ericson 20 or 21, but found the boat listed as a mini-ton on one web site. Even searches under mini-ton find few results. If anyone has info on this boat please let me know what you think of it's performance, I would also like to know if ericson still manufactures any parts for these still. My father says he used to own a ericson 21 and loved it, but I am looking for a little more info. Thank you for your time.
