I have a part where plexiglass and wood meet together. Can I use West System with a fiberglass mat to cover the seam between the wood and fiberglass to seal the water and moisture out?
why not use life seal sealant by boatlife, where is the leak at, im sure this would be a cure as i use it for just about everything above the waterline.
other than than the question of "will it stick?"..
you want to consider how much flex the area where this will be used will have. I find epoxy sometimes has a tendency to crack if used where there is alot of flexing. Perhaps a product that has the ablity to flex, give, and return to shape and still hold might be worth considering. If this is replacing or repairing original equipment .. you might give Hunter a call.
