Sounds similar to our summer planning.... There is an old saying that goes something like "your Life is what happens to you while you're busy making plans."
Man... I know that feeling.We were planning on cruising for a month. Never happened.
Ah well -- next year!
Ran into some head winds in the spring so we got off to a little bit of a late start this year ourselves. But we were able to get in a 4 week trip to Desolation and the Discovery Islands in July and we just got back this week from a 5 week cruise in the "Sound" area. Our son from NC just happened to be in Seattle on business and stayed aboard for the 3 nights we were docked at Bell Harbor. All in all not a bad cruising season . . . and it ain't over yet.Man... I know that feeling.
And don’t forget the all important letter of consent.
We have that every year that one of the kiddos come to stay. That is needed even when just coming to WA. We also have a medical power of attorney.
We were able to get in a lot of sailing this summer including two cruises with both of us and a solo cruise for me in August.
