Honda gen

I like my Honda EU2000, a 4cycle 2KW generator on my Hunter 260, When charging batteries I would recommend going thru a 3 stage battery charger rather than stright from any generator because the DC output of a generator has no regulation nor filtering

We love our Panda

We looked at the entec. It was substantially quieter than the northern lights though the NL was not enclosed like the entec. BUt I would not trade my panda for any of them. We spent alot of time researching and found panda the best fit for us when we looked at NOISE, Size and technology.Scott

We have an Entec

We installed an Entec on our 460 in 1999. It has performed as expected since then - not a single hiccup. Starts quickly and runs well. Gives us 35A of 120V power whenever we want it.Ours has the sound enclosure and is quite good, although it is still a dominant sound when running. We will usually run it when we are in the cockpit (much less noticeable up there) or when away from the boat for a short period of time. Richard OwenMikayla

Dear Richard: Where did you install the entac generator?Was it behind the engine compartment or in theStarboard lazarete? I'm contemplating installing a generator in my 460 within the next several months.
