I have a Hunter 30, 1978 model with the large fixed ports toward the aft end of the cabin. I've never been satisfied with the appearance of these ports because they seem to "hang down" toward the end, rather than parallel the lines of either the teak trim above, or the deck line below. I know it's nitpicking, but I would like to reposition these, which would require enlarging the openings somewhat. I would also change the shape at the forward ends. This would, of course, require longer framing and trim for mounting. Has anyone done replacement of these ports, and if so, could you tell me of a source for the frame? It seems to be made of a durable and somewhat flexible vinyl. Thanks in advance!
