Trace through the circuit
Sounds like a simple electrical problem. Probably a wire connection that needs tightening and/or cleaning. The time delay allows for cooling to occur which affects the wire connections and possible functioning of the solenoid. Trace the circuit:Is there voltage at solenoid input when pressing the start button- if not then trace back to the start button. Otherwise, is there voltage at the solenoid output - if not then the solenoid is the culprit - replace it. In the meantime, learn how to short the solenoid output with a screwdriver to get voltage to the starter and bypass the start button/solenoid circuitry.RogerHunter 37 "Destiny""Committing solecisms that society will never pardon"
