I have an older sailboat with a Yanmar yse8 and have an opportunuty to pick up a ysm12 in good shape. How difficult would the switch be. would the mounts match up? is the engine the same size? Etc.......
The YS engines are easy to swap. There was very little change between engines and most all of it was internal. The E indicates an Early engine and the M is for Modern. (The B is Between)
