engine size for a Hunter 28.5

Can anyone tell me if a Yanmar diesel 15hp was standard on a 1986 Hunter 28.5. I have not seen any mention in the forums. Thanks

Hunter 28.5 / Yanmar 2GMF20

My 1986 28.5 (hull # 338) has a Yanmar 2GMF20 as standard equipment, which I believe is rated at 16 HP at 3600 rpm. It seems that as Yanmar was able to 'up' the rpm they also raised the rated horsepower.

2GM20F was standard...

and is spec'd as 18 hp. @ max rpm. Plenty of power for this hull.
