I've noticed a few spots of diesel in the bilge under the stairs
And some green oil towards the top of the engine.

Should this be a concern? Any obvious fixes?

Many thanks

Few questions: green oil? Is that coolant? Oil even shortly after an oil change will be a dark brown/black. Are the 'green drops' near the water pump or hoses?

If the engine was recently serviced, the couple of drops of oil could be from the oil change or filter removal.

I would clean up any residue and place an oil blanket in the fiberglass pan. If you continue to get drops of oil then you should figure out the source. Could be something as simple as a loose sensor or an indicator of a bigger problem.

Thanks captain TJ.

It must be coolant. I would say a tablespoon worth.
Is this normal?

If you over fill the exchange heater with coolant yes it is normal. There must be a little hose next to the place where you add the coolant. It's purpose is to do this.
