My 1990 41f5 has an M50 Perkins Engine. (50 hp.) Perkins was sold a number of times. I am looking for a source to buy a couple of blanks for the engine ignition key. Has anyone got an idea where these blanks can? be acquired? The blanks were originally produced in either the UK or in France. They are stamped "Euro Lock." Three years ago when I bought the boat (1990 B390 Oceanis), I went to a dozen keysmiths and all I got was 'blank' stares. I called Ward at Beneteau and he sold me 6 blanks (plenty of spares) which I then had cut properly. Nissan the car manf does have a similar blank which will work but easier to get blanks from Bene. While you are at it you might wish to get blanks for the companionway key. They are also impossible to find in the real world. That is, if you need that funny little square companionway key on your boat. Good luck, Pete
