Engine Ignition buzzer install?

I've a keyless starter setup - engine push button in cockpit and a toggle switch below deck that "arms" the ignition circuit (same as turning a starter key to armed position).Works fine.Only problem is that it is easy to forget to flick the switch off when done with engine as the only warning is the red ignition light which is easy to miss on a sunny day.So I'd like to replace (or simply add in parallel) a warning buzzer. Is it just a matter of wiring it in parallel - should I remove the ignition light as too much resistance in circuit? Finally, maybe I'm not using the right search but I'm not seeing the alarm buzzers for sale online.Any tips? Thanks.John V1447 Breakaway

John, may I also suggest that if not already present, you fit audio alarms to the oil pressure and water flow indicators. It is possible to use one alarm for all three functions in some cases.Geoff#################################################Geoff Blake, G8GNZ JO01fq: Chelmsford, Essex, UKgeoff@... or melecerties@...Using Linux: Ubuntu 14.04 on Intel or Debian on UltraSparc and Apple OS X El Capitan on my Macbook Pro.
