Engine Gauges for Yanmar 3YM20

Vessel is a 2007 H-31 with Yanmar 3YM20. Engine warning lights and buzzer work as advertised. Had to clean some corrosion off the tip of the oil pressure switch once when I did not get a buzzer or oil light with the key to "ON". The BAT warning light did come on so that eliminated the fuse behind the instrument panel. The oil pressure switch bullet connector was a bit loose also so a little squeeze with a pliers got me a good tight clean connection. No problems since. I would like to install coolant temp and oil pressures gauges in addition to the current package. I think trends are important. Yes I do watch gauges. I'm an old DC-6 captain. Any one do this on a small Yanmar diesel?

I am a fairly new owner, February of 2014, of a 1997 Hunter 376 with a Yanmar 3JH2E Engine. My first boat. The panel in the cockpit is lame. It has the key and buzzer, and a Tach., that's it. Oh of course there's a gas guage and hour meter. I'm feeling like I do need more information and would like to get a whole new panel with Oil Pressure, Temperature, and Tachometer, and whatever else I might need. I'll be watching your responses to see what other are saying on this subject.
