I figured out how to install the controls on the new 25 wheel steering. The only problem is no parts in the US. Should be here in two weeks. Actually it will be a simple job. I will strongly suggest a connector rod between the rudder and engine. It is alot of work but I doubt many dealers will have the know how to do it. I will teach a few as they are close friends of mine. It can be done., I even have figured out how to put central heat and air on this boat and of course I have done it on a water ballasted C 250.

Am I to understand you have installed wheel steering on your 25? I currently have a tiller. I am interested in doing the same. I would appreciate any input and detail you would care to give. Thank you, MIke

Go to the "junk boat yards" or salvage store. I got an Edson wheel steering system and adapted it to my 1981 H22. Works great. Pictures are on this site under H22 pics. Installation isn't that hard. Just take your time and think it all out before you cut any holes. The whole rig cost me just under $500.00. Brand new from Edson it was over $1500.00.
