Engine compartment ventilation

I recently purchased an ODay 35 with a Universal 25 Diesel Engine. Motor runs well; however, I am concerned about the diesel odor in the cabin. Under motor, I keep the locker open to vent the engine compartment. It makes difference. Since the engine compartment is not vented and enclosed on all sides, I am considering venting it in two places, one vent to allow fresh air in, a second vent with an exhaust blower to circulate fresh air. Has anyone had any experience to share regarding this?Thank youBob
