I am thinking of cleaning my engine in the boat with gunk before changing oil, oil filter,and trans fluid using the oil absorbent pad that collect oil ,but not the water from West Marine under the motor. To clean gunk off the motor I will use a garden sprayer to wash motor of gunk with water and suck up water with wet vac to keep water and other substance out of bilge. So have anyone done this before while engine in the motor or some easier way?
