Well last night represented the end of another great race season. It was a beautiful, crisp & blustery Maine October evening. We had winds gusting 18 to 20+ and we crossed the finish line ahead of all the race/chute boats but except one J-29. I still have a feeling we may have won on corrected time though...:)

It was a great night. This was on our friend Chris's Ericson 34. We started ahead of all the other boats. There was a strong current and one of the boats hit a nun that was the pin end of the starting line. We eventually shook out that reef as the remaining legs were broad reaches and we flew. A very violent front came through about an hour before the start that blew out all the clouds and it turned out to be a perfect sailing night.

Well.. I watched that more than once. Great clip, I wanted to see more. Makes me want to freeze my ass off here in Colorado and go sailing a few more times..
