We have a full enclosure on our Hunter 33. The side vinyl curtains get to be a chore to zip out and store somewhere every time we go out. What do you do with your vinyl curtains to store them so they don't get damaged.

wondered about rolling

but didn't want to get any folds or wrinkles. Used them a couple of times out in cool winds of near freezing water temps to make it warmer inside, but mainly use them while we are away to keep the bugs out. How's the 36, looking at anything bigger yet? We are trying to figure out how to store our gear in the aft cabin without leaving the bag on the floor and reducing very little standing space to no standing space at all. Otherwise the boat handles great... just like a "sports car" as many have refered it as. So far only hiccup was overheating the engine on Sat. motoring ( no wind) through huge fields of tree pollen floating on the water that must have semi-clogged the engine water intake. Spent 1/2 hour drifting taking the filter and pump apart to check and clear.

Man you guys drill all those extra holes in you

boat. That a good way to get water into the core! I don't see the need for a full enclosure but it would be nice if you keep the boat in the water year round.

roll up

My enclosure was built with "snap straps" attached to the top of the side panel so that the plastic window could be rolled up and stored there. If you roll the vinyl material carefully and don't crease it in any way then there is absolutely no harm to the plastic. Of course it helps to treat it from time to time with good cleaner/conditioner to keep it pliable. If the window you have currently, zips out then a retrofit should be fairly easy,

Nick, how do you see

where you're going with a solid windshield like that??? ;) I won't tell my wife the 36 has much more storage space or we may just have to go bigger ;) I'll try rolling and find a suitable spot ot store them. Right now they float around from the aft cabin to the v-berth depending if our daughter comes up with us. I was thinking I had to lay them flat. Thanks for the replies.

Seadaddler you made me laugh

I have hidden so much stuff on the boat that Joan is threatening to make me inventory everything. I've gone out and re-purchased some goodies because I couldn't find them on the boat. Usually about a day or so latter I find them and then I have to listen to the speech. Happy Sails..... Jim S/V Java
