emergency tiller Pearson 36-2

Has anyone obtained or fabricated an emergency tiller for a Pearson 36-2? My boat did not come with one, but I'd feel safer with one on board.

Well that would be an important item to have. The P36-2 came with one that fits into the hole in the rear of the cockpit. If you would like I could snap a picture and give you dimensions so that you can make one.

Greg, that would be great. I have the dimensions of the rudder post hole itself, but fabricating one would be alot easier with a picture and dimensions of the tiller itself.

I have a couple more photos as well... I guess you can build this with any shape once you have the insert hole correct.
