Emergency tiller on a 9.2c

I am considering buying a nine point to see and a quick inspection I did not notice and emergency tiller does anyone know if there is one
This boat is a 1979 with cable and pulleys to the quadrant

Mine came with one. Did you look under the settees. It is pretty small. It fits on the tiller head and I don't think the handle is a foot long.
