I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 1985 CATALINA AND DISCOVERED THAT IT HAD NO EMERGENCY RUDDER TO STICK INTO THE EDSON PEDESTAL WHEEL. WHERE CAN I BUY A EMERGENCY RUDDER??

not in the pedestal

I have an 83 Catalina 30. My emergency tiller goes into the top of the rudder post just forward of the lazarette, not in the wheel pedastal. The tiller is a relatively small pole that may be stored in your nav table or in a drawer somewhere.Eric Ludin~Tilde~ 83 trbs #3305
