Emerg. tiller

I want to make an emerg. tiller for my 1980 H30 I saw one for a 78 H30 but the rear of my cockpit is different than his,. by the way my boat has wheel steering. Does any one have an emerg. tiller for a 1980 H30 with wheel steering? If so please contact me.ThanksRobert A. Phillips

the link below. This arrangement would not seem to provide very good leverage however. I think I would design one to work with the wheel removed.

Emergc Tiller

I have the same boat. Have an emergc tiller handle in case something happens to my wheel. You want to make a separate complete tiller totally independent of the existing one right?

81 H30 with wheel

I have an 81 H30 with an Edson wheel and I have the emergency tiller. I have the T shaped cockpit. I bought the boat last December and I cleaned/sanded/repainted the tiller in the spring. I can take some measurments if it would help you. Respond if you are interested.
