Hi All!
Gordon Douty(Editor of the Nor'East Albin Newsletter), Ed Landry
and myself will be making a run to Crockers Boatyard Inc. this Saturday to
do a little reconnaissance for our 2001 Rendezvous in July. Any Vega
owners are welcome to join us. We plan to meet near the front entrance to
Crockers and poke around a bit then get a bite to eat. I plan to make a
run over to Defender Industries in the PM as they are having their Annual
Warehouse Sale. See the URLs below for information.
The Rendezvous is being held July 20 - 22 at Crockers. Boats are
required to make their own reservations, the earlier the better. I don't
know if they will be amenable to putting us all together or not. We
already have 1/2 a dozen 25's lined up and 4 27's. More will probably be
coming out of hibernation soon and let us know via snailmail. There may
even be some of the larger Albins making an appearance too. All Albins are
welcome, power or sail. Let me know so I can get a head count for the
banquet(not sure where it'll be held but we're working on it). Hope to
hear from some of you folks.
