eliminating spiders

There are two kinds of spiders that troubles boats. The most prolific are the arachnids and the slower moving kind are gelcoat cracks. Whch kind are you concerned about?

Spray your dock lines with spider killer from the hardware store. Also spray inside folds of cockpit canvas. Once a month did it for me in NY.

I use this product successfully. I spray it on the lifelines, underside of the bimini, and dock lines. Then on the pilings I tie-off to, and the edge of the dock. Typical application lasts about 3 weeks.

I'm thinking he means gelcoat spiders. Pick up a copy of Don Casey's book on sailboat repair. Great information offered in a way that even us guys will follow the instructions.

Maybe if you spray spider killer on those gelcoat spiders, they'll go away

For the 8 legged spiders use BOUNCE dryer sheets.
