Electronic sales in PNW

I will be getting new electronics this year and the selection is a bit overwhelming. Anyone have suggestions of someplace in the PNW that has knowledgeable staff and units on display to help me make an informed choice?

One of the most knowledgeable marine electronics/electrical specialists on the PNW is just 2 hours up the street from you. Fortunately (exchange rate) and unfortunately (customs) he is on the Canadian side of the border.

A larger West Marine store (e.g. Seattle, Everett) have a pretty good display on hand. Some staff are fairly knowledgeable. Might be less cumbersome than a border crossing, eh?

Are there any marine electronic store in Anacortes other than WM?

Sailors who live there would go to WM for boat stuff. Not aware of any other source in A town.
