We just bought our first boat ever--1980 28 Hunter form the original owner--great guy. New motor/ transmission. His yard did all the work and we have all the documentation from day one and any repairs/upgrades this fine gentleman ever did. Anyway, she sat for two years dry docked and was never touched. We are readying her for sail this season, but I would like to thoroughly check the elctrical system and would like to find a wiring diagram--one similar to the kind you see in auto shop manuals, not just a point to point diagram. Any such thing out there?

H28

Hi Nick, the H28 was built from 1989 to 1994. Are you sure it is a H28? Check out the hull number normally found stamped into the hull material on the starboard transom just beneath the toe rail. It should confirm the model and year. We sailed a 1989 H28 for three years and am pretty familiar with the boat. Sorry I do not have an electrical diagram.

I think that is a typo. Nick & Shar probably typed 1980 instead of 1990. Hunter was building Cheribini' at that time and the smaller ones were the 25, 27 and 30.
