Electrical use

Marina electrical bill (use)doubled in one month (573 to 1152). We have not been on the boat. Average temp was lower (colder) on lower usage month so doesn't make sense . Marina rechecked and said read meter correctly. Does anyone have thoughts on why electrical use would increase (again we haven't been on the boat)?

....................... you could take a 24 hr. reading to get an idea of your rate of consumption and check that against your monthly consumption ?

How secure is your power pedestal plug in?

Any transients been around? I had a usage issue once, came down one evening to find my boat unplugged and a complete dock side boat repair facility plugged in. They were preping their boat for a trip and apparently needed my power more than I did.
