I have a small portable generator. If I put a 30 plug on a cord and put it in my 30 amp shore power connection and run 125V @ 15A from my generator will this run my built in battery charger to recharge the batteries? Otherwise I will have to buy an automotive charger and chip it to the battery. Thanks, Dan

I have a 2000 watt honda generator and was told it will not work with my 2000 watt inverter. My inverter has a 100 watt battery charger, and I was told that a 2000 watt generator will only handle up to a 50 watt battery charger.
