Good evening, Could anyone explain to me the reason(s), why all electrical outlets work well while shore power is being used , but battery operated power leaves all plugged-in appliances lifeless. I am just wondering where I shall start looking to try fixing the problem and how can I fix it? Thank you so very much to anyone who replies. Bernard

This may be obvious but...

...the shore power outlets are 120v AC, which have no connection to your battery, which is 12v DC unless you have an inverter wired into your outlets, which is unlikely if you're asking this question. An inverter is a device that converts 12v DC to 120v AC.

Thanks Bob

Bob, Of course, what you say does make sense, I understand. I assumed it could and would automatically convert the current to 120 AC, from 12 DC. Thank you for your prompt reply. Bernard.
