I have an ODay 25 ('77) which I just purchased. When I checked out the boat I noticed that the running lights and cabin lights worked fine (by using the switches on the electrical panel) with the exception of the stern light. The stern light was in bad shape so I bought a new one and tried to replace it. The new light tested fine before screwing it into the stern. However once mounted the stern light did not work, and also the bow running lights would not come on. In addition to the electrical panel, I have some other panel near the battery that is a junction plate of some sort (sets of screw terminals in pairs) whch has many wires connecting to it including the battery. Would it be possible that the bow and stern lights are connected together somewhere before going to the junction panel and I pulled it apart somehow when fooling with the stern light wires? The wires at the junction panel appear to be the same as before, so it did not fall out. Also I checked the fuse and it was not blown. All the other electrical circuits work (VHF, cabin lights). Any ideas??
