As those of you with a H38 would know, the path from the toilet to the holding tank is long and convoluted. I am constantly in fear of a blockage with my manual toilet and am wondering if converting to electric which macerates at the toilet would ease most of my worries. Thanks in advance

Move the tank instead

'Cuz a long and convoluted hose run is guaranteed to leave waste sitting in the line whether it's macerated or not, which means you'll have permeated smelly hoses within a very short time. As long as no one flushes anything they shouldn't, a clog is unlikely...so I'd live with it as is till you do have to replace the hoses. That's the time to relocate the tank a better location closer to the toilet. You may have to buy a new tank to do that, but you'll save a good portion of that cost by needing a lot less hose.

Thanks Peggy

Not quite the response I was hopimg for but thanks all the same. Perhaps I will just have to sit & ponder for a while.
